Hmm...well, performance went well today.

Much better than last night anyhow. I think people were in a better mood for one, and also realized we shouldn't suck like that again. Ok, we didn't really suck, but we didn't do our best.

It was awesome for people to come up and see the show. Much much much thanks to Matt and Jera - you guys rock!

I'm also glad to be making friends from the show.

I'm also glad for Katie B, who helped me out this morning. Even if I was feeling better than yesterday, I was still a bit down. She helped me through it.

Oh, and another thing: I like this whole ambiguity thing. I know authors/playwrights/whoever have taken advantage of the whole multiple meaning bit for awhile, intentionally (and sometimes not, I'm sure). A comment in the convo with Katie B and Vinnie's note on here both made me think of it. They both took things in a completely valid and helpful way - but not the one I had originally meant. That is so cool! And so are they!

Like I said in my best of entry, that's why I like the quotes one a lot.

In other news, despite me being dumb and getting to the verge of replacing the guy for the improv thing yesterday morning, I've been invited to replace him for a scene from a play in this undergrad troupe. Oy, now I have to explain all that. Ok, Friday night I got a call from my theater history prof, who's running this undergrad acting troupe, which is for putting on scenes in classes in other departments that connect to classwork there, and I guess for other assorted projects too. He wanted me to show up and hang out at their improv practice thing in case I had to replace this guy who he thought might not show, but wasn't sure; I hung out outside, then left when they didn't come out to get me - I should have just gone in. [Just like I should have just called Katie B. again that one time with the wings...oy, another whole story. Suffice it to say that this silly not completing the logical course of events is a somewhat annoying habbit of mine.] Anyhow, they did need me, but we didn't meet up. Grr. But he called again today, and we straightened that out - and then he invited me to do this other scene with them. It's from a Keats or Yates play [I forget which he said now; I always mix the two up in terms of names alone anyhow], which is really pretty cool, if you ask me.

This entry hardly does this day justice. It really was quite exceptional in many ways, if only for the variety of things I got to do/feel.

Time marches on.
